Live Earth

The company which employs me is providing a lot of services for the Live Earth concerts that will be occurring on 7/7/07. I am currently trying to work my magic and get them to send me to the concert in Sydney. My favorite musician, Jack Johnson, is playing there, and if I went with the company I would be able to get back stage passes. I doubt very seriously that I have enough strings available for pulling, but I am definitely trying. Wish me luck!

On another note, I finished typing the home study autobiography. D's going to review it, but I don't want him to this evening because he was a butthead earlier and I don't want him to read all the nice things I said about him. I know it is childish, but sometimes we have to let out our inner child, right? We also started the "Because They Waited" DVD course. I really despise that type of lecture setting and would rather read 20 books than actually listen to people go on and on incessantly. I know this is not the right attitude about the videos, and I really do pay attention, I just wish we were given more of a choice on our 10 hour education.

The Bean and Pooh have continued to enjoy their summer. Pooh's mom was supposed to come to pick her up next weekend, but will not be able to for financial reasons. This actually worked out really well for us because we were trying to figure out a way for her to be able to stay longer. I have agreed to drive her back to Kentucky later in the month. This also gives us time to take her down to the beach before she has to go back.

This evening was fun with all us hanging out together. D and The Bean decorated the golf cart for Wednesday's Independence Day activities here in PTC (bottom). While they were busy, Pooh decided to learn how to skate board (top). I helped a bit with the golf cart, and, of course, took pictures. We all decided to go in for the evening when the thunderstorms rolled in.
