We have a heartbeat!

I know, I know... the whole heartbeat thing during pregnancy is old news, but not here. Here, meaning my mostly inhospitable womb, there is only a ten percent chance of seeing a heartbeat of a growing little one. Leigh is the only other heartbeat we've seen.
Thursday we went for another appointment and the previously missing ultrasound lady (love her) showed us Nugget's heartbeat. I, of course, started crying and Doug was so giddy that his voice climbed two octaves.
We saw one of the docs after that, and she said everything is going great.

Due date: Dec 7, 2009
Likelihood that I can carry him/her that long: slim to none
Most likely birth date: early November
Current Meds: Prenatal vitamins, aspirin

Thursday evening we told the girls. Check the video (some of you have alreday seen it on Facebook)

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited for you guys!!!
(1) PU.LeeeeeZ don't combine the girls prospective boy names and name the child Michael Jackson Wheeler. That would be WRONG.
(2) after you tell Meron how babies get in mom's belly, please have the same talk with my ovaries & useless uterus. K? Thanks!

I love this post. The video was probably great without the editing, but seriously-cracking my stuff up over here.

How DOES the baby get into the belly?

I'm sure the girls are thinking "geez, I hope it's a girl!"
Hahaha.

Congrats again :)

This is so great. The heartbeat, the video, everything. I think Meron is really psyched to change some poopy diapers. Your girls are beautiful and I can't beleive how fast Meron has mastered english. I'm loving following along with all this. Thanks!

Wrote a long comment before but got an error - arghh. Hope this doesn't duplicate.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the video. So funny. Happy news about nugget. I've been thinking of you and am so happy that you'll be adding another wheeler to the mix.

p.s. Kenny's first comment after we told him he would have a baby sister was, "I am not going to change her diapers or feed her. Gross!"
