D mailed off our application for CHI today. We have finally decided on Ethiopia and we are so excited. It's been tough getting all moved in and having family and friends over constantly, but we were finally able to get the house in order enough to get the pictures for the application. I think we actually sent more pictures than we were supposed to, oh well... They said it could take two weeks for approval, because the application has to be sent to the program director in Ethiopia. D and I aren't worried, we meet all of the criteria. The only marr is D's small run-in with the Law as a teen.
We have been doing a ton of entertaining. D has been cooking up a storm with some really amazing results. On Friday, we invited the Nards over and a two other guys from work who's families have not yet moved. It was fun; I even picked up the guys in the golf cart.
The Bean has had sleepover's almost every weekend. Cait Nard stayed over Friday night, then D took them to play tennis in the morning. We then took the golf cart out and had a picninc at the park next to the lake. It was a beautiful day, but Brewby got a little chilled from the wind. I wish I had taken more pictures, but this one of The Bean and Cait is really cute.
