Our last night

Tonight will be our last night in VA. Things have not gone as smoothly as I would have hoped. The lender for our buyers has been majorly slacking and just today was attempting to get the insurance information from the condo's management company. Of course, the lame management company's computers were supposedly down, so they couldn't even tell them the name of the insurance company. How absolutely ridiculous is that? Anyway, luckily D already had the info (I'm so happy he is always so organized.) D gave the guy the info, and he better have everything ready tomorrow, or we are screwed.

On another bad note... D is currently attempting to get the hitch installed on his car. He had initially ordered the hitch from one company online, but they didn't inform us on any delays, and last week he had to cancel that order and try again through another company. When he ordered it, he only selected three day shipping instead of overnight. We have been waiting on pins and needles for days now hoping it would arrive in time. We saw that it was out for delivery this morning on UPS.com, and I was waiting at home for the shipment while D took care of errands and grabbed us some lunch. While he was in McDonald's (yuck) a UPS guy came in, and D asked him if he had any deliveries for our address and sure enough, it was the right UPS truck... how weird, huh? So, D received the hitch from UPS at McDonald's. I would guess that is a rather unconventional delivery.

The Bean is very excited to be staying in a hotel tonight. She's been very snugly lately, and I think she is dealing with the move pretty well. There haven't been any tears lately, but I expect some tonight when we say goodbye to little Sarah and the Nickle family.
