I would have never imagined that I would let my child play soccer in 100º+ heat, but I did. The Bean participated in a testing session for people who will train children's soccer coaches on Sunday and the Heat Index put the temperature around 102º. The Bean and the other children didn't seem to mind too much, but it was a bit much for me. I am very pround of myself, because I managed not to whine through her entire session (1 1/2 hours, hello!)
The Bean, of course, looked adorable out there. I think she was the smallest one, but she looked really good.
The past couple of days have been more of the intense heat and humitity here GA. I believe they are predicting that the real feel temps today will be something like 112º and there are several more hot ones to come. I am really looking forward to Autumn. Does anyone know when that actually begins in GA?

Just found your blog and stopped by to say hi. We moved here from the north 4.5 years ago and I remember that first summer here I thought I had moved to the sun. Trust me it will cool off......in November.
