I don't actually think these are the special ones... of which I have not partaken. These, however, are growing in abundance in our front yard. They just pop up every night after it has rained. D gets rid of them every morning and the cycle begins again. I have to admit they are kind of cute. D said he feels as if he's crushing a Smurf village when he destroys them. Does anyone know how to keep them from growing?... None of our neighbors seem to have them. Oh well, we are probably the "bad lawn" people on our street already. I blame that on our ages... we are so much younger than everyone else, that we have not had time to figure out all of the lawn maintenance tricks... probably not an excuse that everyone appreciates
